IN LESS than a week's time, Penarth Operatic & Dramatic Society (PODS) will thrill you with the wonderful musical Mack & Mabel at the Paget Rooms, Penarth.
The setting of Jerry Herman's musical is the silent movie era in New York and Hollywood, relating the true love story of two great legends Mack Sennett (played by Iain Scott), creator of the Key Stone Cops, and his protegee the film star Mabel Normand.
Mabel is played by Llinos Lee - well known as a presenter on S4C, who will be filming at one of the shows at the Paget Rooms.
Llinos and the company will be singing their way through such wonderful Broadway hits as I Won't Send Roses, I Want To Make The World Laugh, Tap Your Troubles Away and of course Look What Happened To Mabel.
PODS present this musical at the Paget Rooms, Penarth, from Wednesday, May 16 to Saturday, May 19, at 7.30pm nightly.
