A PENARTH man has published his first book, and he will be signing copies at Coffee1 in the town centre on Sunday.

The Four – a children’s adventure story featuring a family from Penarth on a trip to Paris – is the work of Mark Frost, who writes under the pen name Jack Emson.

The Cosmeston resident said: “It’s about a family vacation that goes wrong.

"Four children are on the run, caught between an extraordinary group of people trying to help them and a ruthless man set on capturing them and the priceless item he wants so much.

“From the Louvre to the Dordogne, the Eiffel tower to London's West End, the four children find themselves in an adventure which takes each one of them into a new understanding of things.”

The book is available for £7.99 from Windsor Bookshop in Penarth, or on Amazon with free UK delivery.

Copies will also be available at the signing on Sunday, which will be held from 5pm to 6pm at the Windsor Road coffee shop.

Money raised from the book launch will be donated to Coffee1’s chosen charity Coffee Kids.
