ON Friday, March 20 at around 4pm my sister was using the crossing near the Washington buildings.
Whilst crossing she accidentally fell grazing her hands, legs and shoulder causing her quite obvious distress, embarrassment and shock. Thankfully her injuries are healing and she has made a full recovery.
The most distressing aspect of this incident is the fact that no one present -motorists and numerous pedestrians - offered her any assistance or showed her any compassion.
I know there are many kind and considerate people in Penarth whose actions and acts of kindness are often shared in your letter section.
My sister is a kind and thoughtful person who would not hesitate to help anyone in need. Hopefully those who ignored her plight might have their conscience pricked by this letter.
