IN his View from The Senedd column, Andrew RT Davies promises to protect our NHS but he does not explain how he proposes to do this when his master, chancellor Osborne, has imposed swingeing cuts on the Welsh Budget while cuts to nursing training have caused agency fees to soar.
Surely when he claims that “great strides have been made on the economy by his Conservative colleagues at Westminster” he must mean great strides to the edge of the abyss for Welsh steel making as the result of Osborne’s kowtow to China over the Hinkley Point C fiasco, which meant that David Cameron blocked EU efforts to increase tariffs on cheap Chinese steel.
By setting out to break the unions through the privatisation of public services, including vital border controls, to their great detriment, this bungling bunch of Bullingdon Club amateurs have broken the back of our economy.
