WHETHER it’s the cycling path, town parking, demolition of the car park, selling ice cream, angling on the pier or the colour of your shop front there’s not much chance of recourse to an AM/MP.
Like many others I’m left with the impression that as we in Penarth pay council tax to the Vale but come under Cardiff West there’s a complete lack of interest and that the boundary change in 1983 was to annul our votes.
The boundary change is long overdue, Penarth should go back to being under the Vale where we contribute tax and has been said before where there is taxation there should be representation, it’s basically democratic.
At odds with the Assembly most of Wales was in favour of Brexit, significant savings could be made in Cardiff Bay and reinvested in industry, commerce, education, housing, health and infrastructure.
