Starbucks has launched its first-ever UK Bearista Advent Calendar, with the £24.95 limited-edition Christmas countdown going on sale in participating stores today, November 5, alongside a new festive menu.

The 12-day calendar features an exclusive Starbucks Bear plush alongside 12 miniature outfits and accessories, which are revealed one day at a time.

From cosy winter knits to festive accessories and Starbucks-inspired details, customers can dress and style the bear throughout the Christmas countdown.

The festive launch comes as Starbucks also unveils a major shake-up of its food menu, introducing new breakfast options, lunchtime favourites and snacks across UK coffee shops.

Among the biggest additions are an All-Day Breakfast Bagel packed with bacon, scrambled egg and melted cheese, a Hot Honey Halloumi & Avocado Muffin and a new Signature Mac & Cheese.

Several existing favourites have also been given a makeover, while customers will have to wait a little longer for a new coffee-flavoured dessert arriving later this month.

Starbucks Bearista Advent Calendar – what's inside?

The Bearista 12-Day Advent Calendar is a new collectible from Starbucks, bringing the brand's much-loved bear character to the UK Christmas countdown for the first time.

Inside is an exclusive Starbucks Bear plush and a collection of 12 miniature outfits and accessories to uncover.

The pieces are designed to be mixed and matched, allowing customers to create different festive looks for their bear.

Starbucks describes it as a collectible styling set, combining daily surprises with a keepsake that can be enjoyed beyond Christmas. The calendar is available from November 5, priced at £24.95.

Starbucks breakfast menu gets a makeover

Breakfast is getting some of the biggest changes, with the new All-Day Breakfast Bagel (RRP £5.85) leading the additions.

The soft bagel is filled with scrambled egg, creamy béchamel sauce, hickory-smoked streaky bacon and melted Red Leicester cheese, finished with Starbucks' signature tomato relish.

Another new arrival is the Hot Honey Halloumi & Avocado Muffin (RRP £5.85), combining smashed avocado and halloumi with hot honey and the chain's tomato relish.

There is also an improved Ham & Cheddar Croissant (RRP £5.55), which now contains oak-smoked ham, mature Cheddar, mozzarella and béchamel sauce inside a flaky butter croissant.

Other breakfast options include an improved Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwich (£5.85), Traditional Sausage Sandwich (£4.65) and Smoked Bacon Roll (£4.65).

New Starbucks lunch options include £6.20 Mac & Cheese

There are several changes to the lunchtime menu, including a new Signature Mac & Cheese priced at £6.20.

The dish combines macaroni pasta with Red Leicester, mozzarella and vintage Cheddar in a creamy cheese sauce, topped with crispy fried onions.

Customers can also try the new Chicken & Bacon Caesar Flatbread (£6.20), filled with diced chicken breast in Caesar mayonnaise dressing, hickory-smoked bacon, Italian-style hard cheese, semi-dried tomatoes, lettuce and rocket.

The Tomato, Mozzarella & Pesto Panini (£7.35) is another new addition, featuring stone-baked focaccia filled with mozzarella, slow-roasted tomatoes and basil pesto, finished with fresh rocket.

Meanwhile, the improved Tuna Melt Panini (£7.55) now comes in stone-baked focaccia, with flaked tuna, béchamel sauce, red onion and mature Cheddar, finished with pink pickled onions and spinach.

Starbucks adds new snacks and dessert

Customers looking for something smaller will find a new Egg & Spinach Protein Pot, priced at £3.15.

It contains a hard-boiled free-range egg served with fresh spinach leaves and provides 10g of protein.

There is also a new Mango, Strawberry & Blueberry Fruit Pot (£4.30), offering another option for those looking for a lighter snack.

One addition arriving later this month is the Signature Tiramisu Pot, which launches on November 26 and costs £4.35.
