POLICE are appealing for information after large amounts of jewellery were taken in a burglary which took place in Sully late last month.
Cash was also stolen during the raid, which occurred at a house on Clevedon Avenue between 3pm and 3.30pm on Thursday, October 26.
Amongst the items taken were a number of pieces of distinct jewellery, including: a gold crescent shaped necklace with pearls and green stones hanging from it; a gold bangle taken about 1cm thick with a screw on the top with engraved rings and two children’s gold bracelets – one with heart-shaped green and orange beads.
Officers believe attempts will be made to sell the jewellery on and are appealing for anybody with information to contact 101 quoting reference *416491.
