THE first Penarth Vintage Fayre will be held in the town this Mother's Day.
Shelley Barrett and Liam Curtin from Penarth Soul Club will host the event at the Paget Rooms on Sunday, March 11 and have teamed up with events organiser Dan Nichols who set up the successful Vintage Extravaganza at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay.
He said: "We're really excited to be bringing our Vintage Fayre to Penarth for Mother's Day. The Paget Rooms is the perfect setting for a vintage fayre and we look forward to this being a regular event."
There will be a range of stalls selling vintage clothes and accessories, homeware and much more.
Live music will be provided by Belleville Swing Band and Penarth's popular jump blues band Mellow Down Easy.
There will also be a Lindy Hopping taster session, hula hoop demonstrations, children's activities, tea and cake and a bar. DJs will be playing music from the 1940s, 50s and 60s throughout the day.
There will also be a best dressed competition.
Entry is £2 on the door and £1 for under 12s.
