A PLANNING application has been lodged for a new conservatory at a house in Penarth.

The application involves a new conservatory at the rear of 33 Albert Road, as well as landscaping to the existing garden and courtyard area.

It also involves a repair to the external walls of an existing workshop and replacement of an existing roof.

A supporting statement on the planning application form reads: “The proposed conservatory is permitted development. The replacement of the roof to the existing workshop is required maintenance and the new roof/pergola will be lower than the existing corrugated roof.”

The application was submitted to the Vale of Glamorgan Council on Friday, April 14, and is expected to be decided under delegated powers.
