CONTINUING to gel well together, the Penarth Rugby Club U12s have hit the 80-point mark in recent wins over local rivals Barry (48-0) and Newport side St Josephs (32-0).
The side also entered a tournament at St Peter's, Cardiff, when, after winning a number of games, they lost in the final in a close fought battle with Cwmbran
With the side's speed of play much improved, mention must be made of captain Evan 'Lloydee' Lloyd, who leads from the front, Aled Rees, with his sniping runs, and Drew Musa, who is showing skills as a kicker. However, the individuals are just part of a team that is working hard in the loose, turning the ball over from their opposition, and a pack of forwards who are tight in the scrums. And the backs are tackling and developing their skills running with the ball.
Indeed, it's well done to all, including the coaches; keep playing as a team and continue the wins.
