BOWLERS at the Penarth Belle Vue club are being
urged to 'pull together' to secure as many wins as possible during the rest of the season.
"We are a team and skips are in charge during games" is the message from Saturday and Wednesday captains John Allen and Allen Stockham respectively who are urging anyone with any points to make to speak to them personally.
There were a number of positives for Belle Vue, when hosting Cowbridge in a Munro Cup match on Wednesday week, they triumphed on two out of four rinks to win by 27 shots overall. Successful skips were led by Trevor Ford and A Thomas.
Belle Vue: D Miller C Jones, R Fitzjohn, M Thomas (skip) 12-14; K Lloyd, F Keen, R Patterson, A Thomas 17-13; B Bagwell, G Ford, J Allen, L Aubrey (skip) 10-18; A Stockham, P Patterson, D Rogan, T Ford (skip) 38-5. Belle Vue 77, Cowbridge 50.
