SULLY Cricket Club remain top of their division after a 45 run victory against St Fagans.
Sully Spartans were put into bat first after losing the toss but it turned out to be a decision St Fagans would regret.
First up to bat were Ram (22) and Saeed Ali (21) but both were then out in quick succession.
Saneesh (24) and Jacob (23) continued the steady progress before the two were out in a short period of time, but at 133 for 4 the Spartans were looking in good shape.
Soban hit a quick fire 14 and top scorer Sathish hit 32.
Syed Abaas (21) and Hyder (16no) took the total to 219 which would be a good target to chase.
In response St Fagans went for it from the start and at 61 for 1 from 10 the game was close.
All the Spartans bowlers bowled well, with some having more luck than others.
Hyder and Bernard both had one wicket a piece and were followed by Morgan and Jacob who took 3 wickets each leaving St Fagans 174 for 8 after the allotted 40 overs and the Spartans victors by 45 runs.
Special mention to Soban whose catch of the season was a major factor in the Spartans win.

S Perla 32
Saneesh 24
St Fagans 174 for 8
Morgan 3 for 18
