THE EX-SERVICEMEN'S A team secured their place at the top of the league this week in the Penarth Darts League with a 10 - 5 win over their own B side.
Paul Paterson was best for the Ex's B taking three doubles and Paul Wingren also hit three doubles for the A side.
At the Coro Club, the B side pulled off a 9 - 7 win over the Golden Lion A. Shaun was man-of-the-match for the Coro B hitting seven tons and overs. Anthony was man-of-the-match for the Lion with three doubles and four tons and overs.
At the Three Horse Shoes, the home side went down by six points to nine in a closely fought match against the Coro Oldies. Ashley Deacon was player of the night for the Shoes with three doubles and Nathan Rosser was best for the Coro A with six tons and overs and two doubles.
