SULLY Cricket Club have started off the friendly season in fine form.
First up was SWE and a win by 52 runs.
Spartans scored 134 with Inam getting 35 and Morgan not out on 20 with a partnership of 55 with Sathish (17).
In response SWE could only muster 82 with Inam 3-3 being the main wicket taker.
Next was Porth and a win by 65 runs.
Spartans scored 211for 9 with Santosh 37, Krishna T 37 and Rasel 21 being the main scorers.
In response Saiful 3-15 Krishna T 2 for 9 and Morgan 2 for 19 were the main wicket takers.
Finally Bay Dragons and a win by 66 runs.
Spartans scored 209 for 6 with Rasel not out 55, Morgan 44 and Sathish not out 21 being the main scorers.
In response the Bay Dragons were all out for 143.
Paddy with an excellent 4-29 and Jacob 2-6 were the pick of the bowlers.
This Sunday the Spartans are away to Rogerstone before facing Barry Wanderers the following weekend in the Mike Ashton Memorial Challenge Cup double header.
