IN A WELL contested midweek T20 game Sully came out winners by nine runs against the Dragons.
Winning the toss Morgan elected to bat first on a drying wicket and at 19 for 2 it looked like it was going to take some stubborn batting to make a reasonable total.
Kashif joined Alistair and together they took the score to 75 with Kashif the next batsmen out for a quick fire 22 and the score was 75 for 3.
Alistair was joined by Morgan with the former hitting a couple of well run twos to the long off side boundary before holding out at mid on for an excellent 31, leaving the score at 88 for 4 off 14 overs.
Morgan took up the role of aggressor with Tom (12) ably supporting as the pair added 50 in the last six overs reaching a defendable total of 138, with Morgan remaining not out on 30.
In response the Dragons started off like a train and reached 82 for 1 off only nine overs with Abdul taking the wicket (1 for 22)
A run out and a wicket for Tom left the Dragons on 100 for 3 off 14 overs and looking set for victory.
Kashif and Morgan bowled the last six overs between them with both bowlers taking two wickets a piece and an excellent run out by Jamin, halted the Dragons in their tracks as they ended up on 129 for 8.
