Casey Thompson's brace helped league leaders Barry Athletic to come away with the three points in the big top of the table clash in the Premier Division.

Unbeaten Athletic inflicted Rhoose's first loss as they edged them 3-2 at the Athletic Ground.

Penarth Town continued their recent resurgence with a 2-0 victory over Sully Sports to keep Sully bottom of the league.

Cowbridge Town made it two in a row with a very impressive 4-2 away win over Island Marine.

Barry Saints and St Athan played out a 3-3 draw, a last gasp Barry Saints equaliser putting St Athan into the bottom two.

In Division One, Holton Road ground out a 2-1 victory over Cogan Coronation to maintain their 100% record and domination over the division.

Holton Road are now eleven points ahead of the chasing pack.

Cadoxton Barry went second with a 3-1 win over SP Billy although they have played a game or two more. Tynewydd moved third as they produced a narrow 1-0 win over Cwm Talwg.

In Division Two, leaders Rhoose B saw their 100% record disappear as St Athan B came from two goals down to secure a 3-2 triumph and move level on points at the top.

Barry Albion held Island Marine B to attain a good point and Barry Vikings got back to winning ways with a 4-0 away to Vale Madrid, that's five losses in a row for Vale after a good start.

Next week the premier divisions attention turns to the SWFA Cup while there is a full division one program with match of the day looking like Cogan vs Cadoxton Barry.
