County cup tie to be screened live on BT Sport
NEWPORT County AFC’s FA Cup clash away to Wrexham will be screened live on BT Sport, the broadcaster has revealed.
The second-round tie at the Racecourse Ground is set for an 8pm kick-off on Saturday, December 1.
County’s involvement in a televised match will result in a boost to the Rodney Parade club’s finances.
Both clubs will receive £75,000 from The FA's live broadcast fee, while the winners will pick up a further £54,000 from The FA prize fund.
