Darts: The Greenaway Autos Singles League

LLOYD Arnold, with a 113 checkout and 16 dart leg, got the night off to a blistering start, against a spirited performance from the Sparkle, winning 3-1.

He followed this up with consecutive 3-0s against Alan Oliver and Neil Thomas, pushing him up the table.

Catch up games from the Maltese Open entrants, Paul Jenkins and Dai Randall, resulted in a couple of draws for Paul, including his first maximum of the season, against Paul Cox and Alan but went down 3-0 to the inform Mark Stevens. Dai faired better with 2 draws and a win. James Johnstone, with his fractured back restricting his movement, battled out a couple of draws with Dai and Neil, but also went down 3-1 to Mr Stevens. Mark followed up with 180, in beating Paul Cox 3-0, in the final match of the night.

Nathan Rosser played solidly winning 2 and losing 1 of his 3 matches, improving his league position, moving up 4 places. Neil (180), undid Alan 3-1, in a very close game, taking 5 points after his venture to the sunny climes of Minehead the previous weekend.

A Charity singles competition, in aid of McMillan, is scheduled for the following week, 16th December, with all welcome. Played upstairs in the Ex’s, start at 7pm.
