The Buccaneers

The top division is getting heated with 4 players vying for the 2 remaining places, in the final 4, after Dai Randall booked his place with a draw against Matt Stanger, including a 146 checkout, and a convincing 3-0 win over John Nowland.

Mark Stevens (12 points) is hanging on to 3rd, at the moment, after a keenly contested draw with James Johnstone, but a loss to Grant West means that James (92 out), who also picked up a win over Matt Davies, and a draw with Grant, including another 16 dart leg, is breathing down his neck on 10 points.

Neil Thomas holds the key to who qualifies as he as to play his remaining fixtures against all interested parties.

The Mutineers

This division, with a handful of matches remaining, is more straightforward, with wins for Paul Jenkins, 3-0 over Paul Cox and Marissa, including a timely 96 out in a 17 dart leg, and Grant Coombes who also beat Marissa and Steve Turnbull, with some excellent scoring, meaning both Paul and Grant have qualified with games to spare. Alan Oliver, despite not playing, as also makes the top 4, with other results going his way. Steve Turnbull looks the favourite to claim the last spot baring disaster in his last 2 fixtures.

Despite a win and a draw on the night, Nathan Rosser is just pipped at the post to qualify. Marissa played 4 matches, in a catch up week, and claimed a notable victory over Paul Cox, who now must win his final 3 games, and hope Steve fails at the last hurdle.
