SULLY Sports Bowls Men’s Club launched its 2019 season with an open day last Saturday, 13th April.
Chairman Dennis Austin, watched by captain Graham Brown, and a number of other members, officially opened the green by bowling down the first wood.
There was a good turnout, but captain Nuncky still extends a warm welcome to all, and any, members/players, past, current and new who have yet to register.
Don’t worry if you are a novice, or have never bowled, free coaching is available to all newcomers.
Anyone wishing to join can turn up at the club, or contact Peter Holland (secretary) Tel 01446 622490, or Graham Brown Tel 01446 737274.
The club’s first fixture is a friendly, against its nearest neighbours, Sully Bowls Club, on Saturday, 20th April, at 2.30pm.
