AFC Rhoose B clinched the second division championship with a comprehensive 6-1 over Vale Madrid. St Athan B sealed second spot finishing 3 points off top with a 5-3 victory over Barry Athletic B.
Barry Vikings end of season dip in form continued as they were trounced 7-1 by Penarth Town. Congratulations to AFC Rhoose B on their title win.
In the Premier Division, second place AFC Rhoose edged out champions Barry Athletic 4-3 in a thriller. Although it has absolutely no effect or bearing on the league it’s still a fine win for Rhoose.
Athletic look ahead to their SWFA Alliance league promotion play off. Island Marine wrapped up their season with a emphatic thrashing of bottom side St Athan.
In Division One, Champions Holton Road finished their campaign with a 5-2 victory over a spirited Cwm Talwg side and Cardiff Airport saw off Cadoxton Barry 3-1 to seal fifth place.
This weekend it’s the final handful of games and the Vale showpiece, the Barry Cup Final at Jenner Park on Sunday between Penarth and Cowbridge.
