At the Golden Lion the home side and the Station were locked in a closely fought match with the Station finally coming out on top by 7 points to the Lion’s 5.

Lion started promisingly winning both pairs legs with Rob x19 and Richie 100 x2.

High scorers for the Station were Paul 140 Jeff 100 100 and Miles 100. In the singles the Lion only managed to gain three more points through Richie x1 and 100 100 x8 along with Rob 126 100 x20.

Station took 6 singles points through Miles 135 x8 100 100 x9 Jeff 100 x1 100 100 x8 Alex x8 x8. Station went on to take the team leg with Alex on x16.

At the Coro Club the Coro B side took on the Ex’s Sparrows Coro Started well taking the First Pairs with Lee x2 and then the first singles with Anthony 140 100 x16 140 100 x9, Sparrows also took one pairs with Kevin 140 x4 and then went on to take 6 singles points with Kevin 139 x2 and x20 Paul Stowe x1 100 100 100 x20 and John x5 100 x2.

The team leg also went the sparrows way with Paul Wingren 121 140 Kevin 100 and John x2. Final Score Coro B 3 points Ex’s Sparrows 8 points.

The 501 Singles competition will be played Friday 10th May.
