THE Greenaway Autos singles league culminated in dramatic fashion, with an epic final between Dai Randall and, player of the season, Matt Stanger.

The evening got off to a blistering start with Matt, in a repeat of last seasons semi, taking on Mark Stevens, and a domineering performance saw him through 5-1.

Dai also with the same score, including a 132 checkout, overcame James Johnstone, to make the championship final.

The Mutineers semifinals saw Alan Oliver, with a 17 dart leg and a maximum 180, beat Paul Cox 4-1, and the other semi, with the same score line saw Paul Jenkins defeat Grant Coombes.

The final was a one sided affair, seeing Alan continuing his excellent form, both outscoring and with clinical finishing resulting in a 4-1 score.

The Singles Cup saw a brilliant comeback, with Mark Stevens, trailing 3-0, in the best of 7 semifinal to the inform Alan Oliver, taking 4 consecutive legs, and hitting a maximum along the way, to make the final.

The other semi was a prelude to the championship final with Matt and Dai facing off. Matt totally dominated winning 4-0, including a 17 dart leg.

Mark continued his scoring prowess, another 180 bagged, in a 4-1 revenge win over Matt, to take the title.

The championship final game was a terrific affair. At the mid session interval Matt led Dai by 5 legs to 1, in the best of 11 match, with a 119 out shot and a 180. Dai regrouped during the break and came out all guns blazing winning 3 consecutive legs to make the score 5-4.

The tenth leg was a to and fro game, 140 for 140, ton for ton, and with Dai sitting on an equalising double, Matt pulled out a 116 checkout to take the championship 6-4.
