COUSINS Ryan and David Shallis both started their mini football careers with Cogan but both have since had spells with Cardiff City.
Ryan is now staring for Barry Town Academy and David was with Merthyr.
But their local teams are now both Penarth Town.
Ryan’s Penarth Town U-13s recently finished runners up in the league and beat Cogan in the cup final 2-1 with Ryan scoring the equaliser against his old team.
David plays for Penarth Town seniors who also recently reached the cup final where they narrowly lost to Cowbridge 1-0.
The cousins enjoyed a fantastic season in front of goal with both winning the top scorer award for their respective sides and also both winning the players' player of the year award for their teams.
The 'Shallis Boys' would be lethal together as a partnership and would be fantastic to see them play together one day and terrorise defenders.
