SULLY Centurions’ 2nd XI's match at Cefn Fforest & Maesycwmmer was rained off.
However, the worst of the weather missed Sully, allowing the 1st XI to play host to Lisvane 2nd XI.
Unfortunately, they were beaten by the visitors in a match that saw Centurions experience a middle order batting collapse that effectively left the tail with an uphill struggle.
Chasing 194 to win, Centurions slumped to 134 all out.
Only skipper Rhett Jones (39) and number 9 batsman Kieron Ferriday (28) made any significant contribution.

This Saturday the 1st XI travel to Hopkinstown, while the 2nd XI entertain Crumlin 2nd XI at Burnham Avenue.
