THE second Q Series event, Friday 28th June, saw Dai Randall continue his unbeaten start, after winning the first event a couple of weeks earlier, against Paul Jenkins in the final.
A great game with Mo Cox, in the first round, followed by wins over Paul Jenkins and a tremendous semi final against the in form Alan Oliver, who had previously beaten Mark Stevens 3-2 with Mark hitting a 180 and Alan a 17 darter, and Grant Coombes again by a narrow 3-2 margin.
Dai faced up against Anthony Adams in the final, who played awesome on the night in defeating Nathan Rosser, Paul Cox, including a 180 and a 17 dart leg, and a terrific game, in scrapping through in the semi against a resurgent Sparkle, who hit a maximum in a great encounter. Dai dominated the final to cement his place at the top of the qualifying table.

This Friday, 5th July, sees the third event, again with a 7.15pm registration and 7.30pm toe the oche. Everybody welcome so come along to the Ex’s Penarth and enjoy a great night of darts.
