IN an exact repeat of last weeks final, with the same outcome, Dai Randall keeps his unbeaten record intact, with another splendid performance against Anthony Adams, to increase his overall advantage at the head of the qualifying table.

Q3 started with Paul Jenkins, in a solid display, overcome the ever improving Sparkle by a 3-1 score line. Anthony beat debutant Russ Edwards 3-0, and Dave Tancock got his first win, including a 104 checkout, in a tight game with Paul Cox.

The quarters saw Mo Cox find his form against another debutant in John Edwards, with a hard fought 3-1 result, including a plethora of his favourite score of 95. Dai Randall overcame Nathan Rosser by the same score, as did Lee Lewis in beating Dave Tancock, who hit the highest out of the campaign so far, with a 154 checkout.

Anthony hit a 13 dart last leg in progressing to the last 4 in defeating Paul Jenkins, again 3-1.

The semi-finals saw Dai overcome Lee, in a commanding performance, by 3-1. And with Mo hitting 133s and 95s for fun, Anthony had to pull out all the stops to get to his second consecutive final.

However, Dai repeated his solid scoring and precise finishing to again prevail.

Anthony has moved to joint second, in the table, with Paul Jenkins, on 6pts, with Sparkle a further point behind in fourth.

Mo moves into fifth with 4pts and a gaggle of players on 3pts make up the top 10 positions. Dai has moved on to a commanding 11pts, with 8 qualifying events still to play.

This Friday 12th July sees Q4, registration 7.15pm.

Reminder to anyone who fancies a game that all events are one off competitions. This is not a league format.
