ON a week when Sully Bowling Club were away from home for both matches it was not a good outcome.

On Wednesday we travelled to Romilly and a close fought match as usual ensued. After six ends the villagers were only one down but losing on three rinks ,and after twelve it was two each but eight down.

Although over the last six ends the out come swayed about in the end it was to much for Sully who went down by 9,58-67 but still took our points or two winning rinks.

Saturday took us up past Treorchy to Blaenrhondda Bowling Club.

After recent results the hopes were for a good outcome and after seven ends it was very close across the board but then Sully seemed to fall off a cliff and after fourteen ends it was already game over.
