Q4 started with a tense, to and fro, match ending in a 3-2 victory for Sparkle over Paul Cox. Sparkle then, after leading 2-0 and hitting a maximum, against Nathan Rosser, almost contrived to throw the match away, with Nathan missing several attempts at the double, finally going down 3-2.

Grant Coombes and Mark Stevens had a great game with Mark still looking for his first win of the season going down 3-1.

Anthony Adams scraped through against Mo Cox with the same score line, and Dai Randall continued his excellent run beating best mate Paul Jenkins without losing a leg.

Anthony and Grant, in a ding dong affair, in the first semifinal, threw up some great arrows resulting in a 3-2 win for Grant, making his first final of the campaign.

Dai and the Sparkle traded 180s, in an epic encounter with the difference being Dai’s clinical finishing, prevailing by 3-1.

Doubling out again became the factor in the final, with Grant scoring magnificently but not taking out the crucial shots on doubles, allowing Dai to win the fourth event, on the bounce, and keep his unbeaten run intact.

This Friday sees Q5 taking place, again with a 7.30pm start.

The following Friday, 26th, Q6 will be a blind Pairs event.
