SULLY Centurions 1st XI defeated Hopkinstown by nine wickets in a one-sided affair on a hot afternoon at Burnham Avenue.

Lloyd Bruce and Jake Griffett bagged four wickets each, with one for Nathan Cuddihy, as the visitors were all out for just 84 in only 18 overs.

Pember, who hit 19, was the top scorer for Hopkinstown.

Getting straight back out in the middle, the Sully batsmen wasted no time in chasing down the target in just 13 overs.

After losing Calum Thomas for 7, when he was bowled by James, skipper Rhett Jones (34 not out) and Ricki Griffett (30 not out) saw Centurions home without any further loss of wickets.

This result, along with other results going Sully's way, takes Centurions up to second place with only one match remaining.
