Penarth Darts League: Summer Singles Special second half
THE Penarth Darts League summer singles special second half continued this week at the two venues of the Cogan Coronation Club the Top House (Station).
In Pool A played at the Top House Ian Buckley took on Dave Hodges and came away with a 3 – 0 win both players hit some good scores and finishing came quickly also. on the same board John Nowland managed a 3 – 0 win over Rob Grant again both players through some good darts but John proved to be the stronger player on the night.
Ian Hartley managed a 3 – 0 win over Peter Colley, Peter had chances in the first leg but failed to capitalize.
Ian Buckley was in action once more taking on Jack Frost Ian Played some good darts again but Jack was up to the task taking the encounter by 2 points to Ian’s 1.
In Pool B played at the Coronation Club Chris Bunce and Paul Paterson had a closely fought match with Chris coming out the victor by 2 points to 1.
Next up Jeff Esseen played Charlie Cook, Charlie has some hard luck and Jeff capitalized taking the match by 3 points to Charlie 0.
Rob Beale and Lindy Hartley made up the last pairing at the venue Rob was chased all the way by Lindy who was just out of striking range as Rob took the win by 3 points to 0.
