A FEW games fell foul to the weather on the weekend but one Vale of Glamorgan Football League game survived plus several cup games.
Cwm Talwg are a team transformed and picked up a very impressive victory over in form Penarth Town B. Goals from Ethan Galsworthy, Sam Montgomery and Paul Eveleigh handed Talwg a 3-1 win and move them up to eighth.
In the historic ASRS Cup first round, Holders AFC Rhoose advanced to the quarter finals after a hard earned win over Cowbridge Town. The game was locked at 2-2 at full time but Rhoose secures the win with three extra time goals to come out 5-2 victors.
St Athan are also into the hat for the quarter final as they edged Tynewydd 1-0 at the butts in an extremely tight contest.
In The Supporters Cup favourites AFC Rhoose B eased into the last eight with a 7-1 thumping of Island Marine B.
BV came through 4-2 in a stern test against Holton Road B while Rhoose Social saw off Barry Athletic B in a seven goal thriller 4-3.
And finally, SP Billy continued their great start to 2020 with a 2-1 victory over Vale Madrid to go into the quarter finals.
