NEWPORT County AFC’s young guns will take on the club that gave Michael Flynn his first managerial job after they were drawn against Undy Athletic in the Nathaniel MG Cup.
The Exiles and Cardiff City are wildcard entries in the tournament, which gets under way next weekend.
The draw for round one was held on Wednesday evening and County’s academy prospects will host Undy, who appointed Flynn as boss in the summer of 2015.
The Exiles boss will be otherwise engaged next weekend with a League Two trip to Leyton Orient for the pace-setters.
Risca United and Goytre United both have home advantage against Afan Lido and Penrhyncoch respectively while Cwmbran Celtic will travel to Pontypridd Town.
The matches will be played on the weekend of December 11 or 12 and will be the first competitive matches for all JD Cymru North and South clubs since the domestic season was curtailed in March.
