DRAGONS duo Elliot Dee and Leon Brown have been named on the Wales bench for their bid at the Triple Crown against England.

The front row forwards keep their spots as replacements for the Six Nations encounter at Principality Stadium but back row forward Aaron Wainwright, centre Nick Tompkins and Rodney Parade-bound lock Will Rowlands miss out.

Head coach Wayne Pivac has opted for Kieran Hardy at scrum-half while George North will win his 100th Welsh cap in midfield, where he is joined by fit-again Jonathan Davies.

Josh Adams returns from suspension on the wing with Liam Williams moving to full-back.

North, 28, made his international bow in November 2010 and has amassed 42 tries in his 99 appearances.

Former Dragons lock Cory Hill is prefered to Rowlands as cover for Alun Wyn Jones and Adam Beard.

Tompkins is a victim of Davies' return to fitness and the impressive debut by Willis Halaholo in Scotland, with the Cardiff Blues man on the bench.

Wainwright started at Murrayfield but Josh Navidi comes into the XV and James Botham will come on.

“We’ve had a great two weeks leading into this game and we are looking forward to Saturday,” said Wales head coach Wayne Pivac.

“We continue to build and we know there is plenty left in us in terms of improvements from the opening two rounds. We are 2/2 but we want to continue to improve performance wise.

“Saturday is a great milestone for George, it is a huge achievement at his age and we are looking forward to seeing him in action.”
