THE South Wales Bowls and Recreation Centre Pétanque Section (SWBRC PS) Seahawks team has won the Welsh Pétanque Association National Division 2 with two matches left to play.
The team composed of Len Field (captain), Ian Bailey (vice-captain), Julie Bailey and Geoff Jones have played nine and won nine and have an unassailable lead over second placed SWBRC Swifts.
Each match is composed of four doubles games and the Seahawks have only conceded two games out of the 36 played with a game points difference of +295.
The team will be promoted to and compete in the National Division 1 in 2022.
The team also enjoyed a very good run in the Welsh Pétanque Association League Cup and have secured a semi-final tie against the Caerleon Isca Roman.
Congratulations to the 'Invincible' Seahawks and good luck for their cup match.
