Report by Terry Allday

Poor end of season form and no victories in the preceding three games has seen Cardiff Airport drop away from any possible top two places in the Premier Division, however they came back with a bang, beating Pencoed Athletic BGC 5-1 at the SDM Stadium on Saturday.

Goals from Ashton Hinton and Jack Davies and a hat-trick for Curtis Scotto, which takes him to 27 league goals for the season!

Dinas Powys season ended last week in a disappointing relegation, however they’ve already secured a new management team to challenge for the Championship top places next season.

In Championship action, a mid-week 3-1 victory for Vale United over Garw SBGC will see them finish mid-table.

Goals from Joe Davies, Finley Thomas and Ryan Hughes secured the win.

Relegation zone Sully Sports faced promotion hopefuls AFC Wattstown at Sully.

After going 1-0 through Luke Boyle, AFC Wattstown came back to lead 2-1 before a late late show with two goals in the last five minutes from Luke Boyle’s second and Luke Evan secured the much-needed three points.

It's all in Sully's hands with three points required from their final two games away to Treforest and home to Vale United.

Sully’s victory over AFC Wattstown meant a win for Ely Rangers over Aberdare Town would see them promoted - which they did 2-1!

Richard Greaves and Oliver Bradley were on their scoresheet.

Richard Greaves heads the Championship top scorers list with 25 league goals - Alex Long not far behind with 22!

Relegation worries for Cogan Coronation were eased but only slightly with a 1-1 draw home to fourth place Maesteg Park.

Jack Preston scoring Corries goal which lifts them out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

The next three games coming up for Corries will be decisive - against three of the teams directly above them in the table - Holton Road (home), Llangeinor (away) and Fairwater (home).
