Andy Murray has stepped up his preparations for a return to competitive action at the Brisbane International.
The British number one is making his comeback from a hip injury which has sidelined him since July in Australia and he took to the practice court with Milos Raonic, who is also returning from an injury lay-off.
Murray will play against either Ryan Harrison or Leonardo Mayer after being given a first-round bye.
He has warned that he may never get back to his best, and was clearly still far from 100 per cent during a one-set exhibition against Roberto Bautista Agut in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
But he showed he still has a deft touch as he had Raonic on the run after playing a deft drop shot in their practice rally.
