Two flood warnings have been issued for the Vale as Storm Debi continues to bring heavy rain and gale-force winds to Wales.
National Resources Wales has issued a flood warning for the River Thaw that runs through near Wenvoe up to Cowbridge.
A flood warning was also issued for the river Cadoxton, with main areas in the Vale such as Cogan, Dinas Powys and Wenvoe.
The warning comes after the bottom of Cogan Hill was hit with flash flooding on Thursday, November 9 following a spell of heavy rain.
Windsor Road is also known for sudden build-ups of water on Windsor Road at the bottom of the hill just before Cogan train station.
Recently, flood water in the area reached 18” high last week due to heavy downpours and is now at flood risk again as storm Debi hits.
People are being warned of flooding in the area after flood alerts were issued this morning, Monday, November 3 at 6 am.
