THE sailing programme at Sully Sailing Club is in full swing. Last weekend the commodore welcomed their latest RYA qualified instructor, Teilo Richardson and presented him with a cheque from Barry Youth Watersports to cover the cost of his training.
As well as sailing in the club racing, which takes place on Sundays, Teilo will be using his new skills at Sully on a Wednesday evening, when Barry Youth Watersports runs training at the club, and on a Thursday when the club run their own training.
He will also be present on Saturday, May 9, when Sully Sailing Club is holding an open day at the club. Everyone is welcome to come along between 10am and 4pm and learn about the facilities the Sailing Club has to offer and, weather permitting, can have a go in a sailing boat.
Details of how to find the club can be found on their website at sully-sailing.org.uk
