LLOYD-OWEN Barbara Ann (nee Rogers) Sadly passed away at the Whittington Hospital in London on Tuesday 14th April 2015 aged 81 after a short illness. Formerly a resident of Cosmeston Drive, Lavernock, Penarth. She was the wife of Denis, who survives her, mother of Richard, Jon and Simon and grandmother of Natasha, Alex, Georgina and Laurie. Barbara was born on 14th August 1933 in Cardiff and educated at Howell's School, Llandaff, Cardiff and Swansea University. She was a Director of the Cardiff and Vale Citizen Advice Bureau 2001 to 2006 and on the organising committee for the Lower Penarth Community Centre. Resting at James Summers & Son, Lavernock Court until her funeral service to be held at Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium at 2pm on Monday 27th April 2015. If desired, donations in memory of Barbara can be made to the Humanist Society.
