CD review 'Stripped' Christina Aguilera

APART from anything else that can be said about this artist, one of the most obvious aspects about Christina Aguilera's newest albums is the sheer number of tracks on offer.

Her CD 'Stripped' is full to overflowing, with 20 songs penned by the young singer herself. In fact, she can brag that she was instrumental in producing her work as well as creating and performing it.

Originally a Disney Mouseketeer, Christina Aguilera started her journey up the pop music ranks at roughly the same time as Britney Spears.

But that is where any comparisons end.

This super-attractive woman has a voice that can inspire and a look to match.

The first track released off 'Stripped' was the massive Dirrty, but this is not typical of the whole CD.

There are tracks of surprising depth that critics might not have originally foreseen when she brought out Genie In A Bottle, but nevertheless, it shines through brightly.

Actively promoting herself in a far more adult light with the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, Christina has obviously kept her connections, because she is joined on the second track of the album Can't Hold Us Down by Lil' Kim.

Turn her up for an inspiring blast or keep the volume down for some very pleasant mood music.

Either way, this album is testimony to the fact that there is more to Christina Aguilera than nose studs and lip gloss. Based on 'Stripped', she is going to go far.
