BE inspired by Wayne Sleep’s Big Ballet series with ballet for adults coming to Penarth.

Never mind just big ballet, Performing Arts Academy Wales will be opening their doors to all adults for ballet classes launching Thursday, March 6, at Albert Road Methodist Church.

“Wayne Sleep has awoken a love of ballet in so many people from his new series” says teacher and PAAW principal Vicky Russell “It would be a shame to just sit and watch others on the television and not get out and give it a go.”

Classes will initially run as a six week course for all abilities. “We’ve had a lot of interest so far from complete beginners to those with more experience. So I would encourage booking places as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

Watching the first episode of Big Ballet was significant on another level for PAAW as the Royal Albert Hall was heavily featured - this is where junior and senior students will be performing over the May bank holiday weekend. “We’re very excited to be performing at the world famous venue” commented Vicky “But, it really hit home just how big the space is. Still, I know our students will do a fantastic job.”

Adult ballet classes commence Thursday, March 6, at Albert Road Methodist Church, from 7.30pm-8.30pm
