ON November 15 and 16 a competition organised by Music in the Vale is seeking the best instrumental and vocal youth musicians aged between eight to 24 years.
The competition will take place at Stanwell School, Penarth throughout the day and then the finalists are asked to perform at a Gala Concert which starts at 7pm on each day with doors opening at 6.30pm. Entry is free.
Music in the Vale is a voluntary organisation whose aim is to organise a friendly competition once a year offering young musicians a platform to perform in public, this year there are over 70 competitors.
This competition has been running for 29 years and they are grateful to local councils, companies and individuals who support them.
