THE next Music at Lunchtime Concert will take place on Monday, November 17 at All Saints Church, Victoria Square, Penarth.

These popular concerts, with the church providing live music, will be performed between 1pm and 2pm.

The music will be provided by the Lux Quintet made up of Alexander Stead, Alice Boulton, Stanley Kaye-Smith, Gabriella Haynes and Emily Darlington. Formed in 2013, the Lux Quintet is a Cardiff based wind ensemble comprised of students of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

The ensemble has performed around Cardiff and has been fortunate enough to receive coaching from Meyrick Alexander, Roger Armstrong and Pascal Gallois.

The Lux Quintet plays a wide range of repertoire from core wind quintet to arrangements of popular work.

Attendees of the concert are invited to bring their own lunch and will be entertained while sitting at tables on the gallery or to sit more formally downstairs. Tea, coffee and cold drinks will be provided.

It is free to attend although donations are gratefully received towards the work of the church.

All Saints, since its re-ordering which includes the mezzanine floor, servery and lift, crèche and toilets has become a very popular venue for concerts and is fully accessible to disabled people.
