THIS year’s Winter Concert by Cerddorfa Dinas Powys Orchestra will be held at the Parish Hall, Britway Road, Dinas Powys, CF6 4AF on Sunday, December 7 at 7.30pm.
The programme will include Mozart Overture to Don Giovanni, Haydn ‘Cello Concerto No 2’ soloist Michael Dooley and Haydn Symphony No 104 ‘London’.
Cellist Michael Dooley studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and has played with the orchestra for more than 15 years. They are particularly pleased to welcome him as their soloist for the Haydn ‘Cello concerto.
Tickets cost £6 or £3 for age 12 and under, which will include a mince pie and glass of wine or soft drinks. Tickets are available from the Dinas Powys Post Office, 3 Station Road, Dinas Powys; Griffin Book Shop, Windsor Road, Penarth and The Clerk, Dinas Powys Parish Hall, Britway Road, Dinas Powys or at the door on the night.
