THE next Toy and Train Sale by Chris Dyer will take place on Saturday, April 11 at Penarth Leisure Centre, Andrew Road, Cogan from 10.30am until 3pm.
The regular collector’s bonanza is back and this is the second event taking place in Cogan with two more dates, in July and October, booked for the year.
Organiser Chris Dyer said: “Our venue in Penarth is second-to-none and is ideal for a toy and train sale being large, well-lit, easily accessed and clean and modern; importantly, Cogan Railway Station is virtually next door and many of our customers make the most of the very frequent and reasonable train services, from all parts.
“We now offer in excess of 120 tables at the show, and these are operated by more than fifty traders from all over Britain with the stock on offer, old and new, being quite unbeatable in quality and quantity. The show is now firmly established as the largest and best event of this type in the entire principality”.
Traders present on the day will also be buying and exchanging, as well as selling, and will offer free valuations on a wide range of toy and train related items, without any obligation; they welcome any items being brought in for cash or exchange.
Top local caterer and charity fund-raiser Rita Limbrick and team will be operating within the show and, as always, will offer both quality and value, (by kind permission of the Centre's management).
Chris added: “The show is greatly anticipated by both traders and customers and is already fully booked with traders with some travelling from as far away as East Anglia, the East Midlands and North Yorkshire”.
