THE Pilot in Penarth will be holding a US themed Beer and Cider Festival this Bank Holiday Monday.

Kicking off at noon on Friday, August 28, it will be an American themed four day long extravaganza which finishes on Monday, August 31.

Over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend, the CAMRA accredited pub will be serving up a wide array of eclectic ales and refreshing ciders, showcasing the best local brewers such as Otley, Waen and Tiny Rebel. There will also be an exclusive Beer Festival menu, serving up mouth-watering American themed BBQ classics.

Live music will accompany the bank holiday festivities with three local bands playing over the weekend.

"It’s been a great summer at The Pilot, and we want to see it last even longer. We hope to see many faces, new and old, come along and enjoy some great food and drink in what we hope will be some fantastic Bank Holiday sunshine.”

The Pilot is included in both the 2015 CAMRA real ale guide and the Michelin Pub Guide, the only pub in South Wales to appear in the esteemed manual.
