CERDDORFA Dinas Powys Orchestra have now started rehearsals for their next concert after their summer break but it isn't too late to join in and enjoy some music making. String and woodwind players will be made most welcome.
The Winter Concert will be held on Sunday, December 6, at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall, Britway Road, Dinas Powys.
Their soloist for Rodrigo’s ‘Concerto de Aranjuez’ with be Harry Tarlton who has just gained a first class honours degree for guitar playing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is already busy pursuing his promising career as a solo classical guitarist. The orchestra will also be performing Mozart’s Symphony No 40 and the concert will open with Greig’s ‘Holberg Suite’.
Tickets are £8 (£4 under12) and will be available nearer the date.
