AN EVENING of Poems and Pints will be held in the Albion on Glebe Street, Penarth on Sunday, May 22.
The informal evening will be devoted to poetry which can be your own work, someone else's, your favourites or even your pet hates.
You can read it yourself or get someone else to read it. You can talk about it or ask about it and of course, you can just sit, listen and above all, enjoy the poetry and the pints.
Inspired by the successful evening in last year’s Book Festival you are invited to this evening as a taster, which will hopefully be for this year’s festival, a celebration of literature and books in all their pleasures, forms and guises, one of the highlights of Penarth’s year.
So come along from 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
