SOUTH Wales Art Society will present their 129th Annual Exhibition at Penarth Pier Pavilion from now until June 9.
The Society, founded in 1886 is the oldest and biggest society in Wales. It continues to uphold the ideals of its founder members set out in the Constitution of that year, and has held it’s Annual Exhibition every year since.
This showcase of members’ skills across a wide range of sizes, subjects and media, reflect the aspirations of a group of 150 like minded artists, some of whom have great experience and some, who have recently started painting.
Artists showcasing their work in the exhibition include: Eli Absi, Asha Bassi, Shelia Beames, Wendy Cline, Lysbeth Davies, Mary Dewey, Ray Dibble MBE, Judith McDonnell, Sylvia Donovan, Tony Douglas-Jones, Rebecca O’Dwyer, Anne Edwards, John Evans, David W Evans, Pamela Gilbert, Mo Harper, Keith Harvey, Sylvia Hughes-Williams, Chris Langley, Arnold Lowrey, Charlie Mann, Sylvia Middleton, Jane Patten, Dave Phillips, Ian Philpot, Clive Rees, Joe Rhodesm Ruth Robinson, Claire Sadlier, Zoe Schubeis, Jude Smith, Kevin Strong, John Turner.
